Sarah has more than 35 years’ experience as a property lawyer and was a Partner in a West End firm before becoming a consultant solicitor.
Sarah specialises in residential property and development, dealing with both freehold and leasehold. She has a good pragmatic knowledge of the property market and aims to give a bespoke and personal service. Sarah is mentioned in the Legal 500 rating of Streathers in respect of residential property.
Streathers‘s residential property practice handles all aspects of buying, selling, developing, and financing for clients with property in central London and the countryside. The team, which advises high-end developers and high-net-worth individuals, is led by Simon Main. Key support is provided by Laura Owens, who also focuses on developer work; senior partner James Danaher, who advises on all aspects of residential property; and Sarah Buttleman, who handles residential property and development work. Felicity Sergeant departed the firm in February 2025, joining Keystone Law.
