Recent Experience

• Advising on a complex lease extension claim of a prime St John’s Wood property, involving a premium in excess of £1 million.
• Acting for an intermediate landlord in a large block in South Kensington in connection with all their property matters, including; lease extension claims, licences for alterations, licences to sublet and providing general landlord and tenant advice.
• Instructed on an absentee landlord claim, where the landlord had been missing for over ten years and was successful in obtaining a Vesting Order from the Court and was awarded full costs from the Judge to be reimbursed to the leaseholder.
• Handling an application to the First Tier Tribunal to dispute a landlord’s unreasonable Section 60 costs and was successful in receiving a 50% reduction.
• Dealing with an acquisition of the freehold of a 95-flat development in Battersea, following the service of a Right of First Refusal notice.
